The Problem
In partnership with Idea Maker, Pink Avenue Beauty created a new business app development project to fill a need. Connecting beauty professionals and clients is the key to beauty business success. However, often, appointments remain unbooked and nails unpainted because one party or the other isn’t aware of availability. The creators of Pink Avenue wanted to create an app that could be used like Uber, but for beauty services. The client needed a two-sided app that was available for all users, no matter their device type. She needed a dedicated dashboard for the customers and the salon owners, stylists, nail techs, and estheticians. Further, she needed Google map integration so that when clients booked appointments, they’d be with salons near them. Another feature that was a must-have was listing available appointments and scheduling them on the fly.
