The Problem
Lincoln is a company that receives and processes thousands of data files every day for bulk analysis. They teamed up with Orange County-based Idea Maker to create a Robotic Process Automation system for their business. Before partnering with Idea Maker, Lincoln employees had to do the processing manually. Manual entry of this quantity of data is tedious, expensive, and if rife with opportunity for error. Lincoln needed to find a more accurate and efficient way to process all of the information. Because of the menial nature of the task, the best option was automating the systems. However, not all of the data files they received were in the same format. The system they built would need to be intelligent and use machine learning to accurately process the information. Further, the information would need to be processed into a detailed database that could be viewed, filtered, and sorted to find specific data, and accurately map that data.
